$40k Stretch Goal Reached!
Thank you to everyone who has supported our Kickstarter! We've now reached CA$40k in funding. The following stretch goal is now unlocked:
$40K - Two Additional Subclass Options. We'll add two additional undersea-themed subclasses to the book.
Our team has already started brainstorming subclass option ideas for the fighter, sorcerer, and warlock classes. Details and previews will become available as development progresses. Also, any playtest-ready subclasses will be sent out to Early Access backers first.
Our Next Stretch Goals
We've added two new stretch goals to go with our CA$45K goal!
Here are the remaining stretch goals for this Kickstarter:
$45K in Funding - Ancients (Dakri & Varu) Racial Options. We'll add lore and racial stats for a brand new undersea playable race with two subraces, the mysterious Ancients.
$50K in Funding - Gunslinger Undersea Themed Subclass. We'll add a new subclass to the book for Vodari's Gunslinger class. We're looking at exciting ways for this new gunslinger to use spearguns and harpoons. We'll also provide guidelines for gamemasters to handle gunslingers underwater.
1000 Backers - Vodari Player's Companion. We'll create a PDF containing all of the player options (races, subclasses, backgrounds, feats, and more) and equipment from both books for gamemasters to provide their players. This is a backer-exclusive digital reward and will not be available to non-backers.
As this Kickstarter continues, we plan to add more stretch goals. Details to follow.

500 Backers & $35k Stretch Goals Reached and Other Updates

Thank you to everyone who has supported our Kickstarter! We've now reached 500 backers and CA$35k in funding. The following stretch goals are now unlocked:
500 Backers - Pregenerated PCs (PDF). We'll create a collection of illustrated pre-generated character sheets for each of the undersea subclasses. This is a backer-exclusive digital reward and will not be available to non-backers. You can download an example Seas of Vodari pre-generated character sheet for the Corsair fighter subclass here.
$35k - Five Additional Spells. We'll add five more underwater-themed spells to the book for casters from above and below the waves.
Our Next Stretch Goals
Our remaining stretch goals are:
$40K - Two Additional Subclass Options. We'll add two additional undersea themed subclasses to the book.
$45K in Funding - Ancients (Dakri & Varu) Racial Options. We'll add lore and racial stats for a brand new undersea playable race with two subraces, the mysterious Ancients.
We're really excited about both of these stretch goals, especially being able to work on expanding out the lore of the mysterious Ancients.
In addition, as we get closer to reaching our final two stretch goals, we plan to add more stretch goals, including backer-exclusive goals.
Hero of the Wind & Waves Tier Update
Just to clear up any confusion... the Hero of the Wind & Waves tier does include "Free Worldwide Shipping (up to CA$50)". We missed adding free shipping to the reward item list for this tier but didn't miss adding it in the main Kickstarter text. There is no way for us to fix the reward list, as we only noticed this issue after people had selected this tier.
The Hero of the Wind & Waves tier has proved to be our most popular and we're going to make an additional 50 Hero of the Wind & Wave packages available in a new tier named Hero of the Wind & Waves II. This new tier will include free shipping in the reward item list. There is no difference between Hero of the Wind & Waves and Hero of the Wind & Waves II and both tiers will receive identical rewards.

Ten Additional Magic Items Stretch Goals Reached
Under the seas, magic items are sought after by treasure hunters, mages, and anyone seeking power from above and below the waves. Legendary magic items discovered from before the Godwar have provided a new understanding of magic, but only an elite few have the skills to create powerful magic items. Anyone who finds a magic item in their hands may be the first to touch it for centuries. We're excited to be adding even more magic items to the book.

The next goal to unlock is:

Monsters of the Wilderness for 5E
Our friends and fellow Canadians over at Cawood Publishing are running a Kickstarter for Monsters of the Wilderness. This is the 4th book in their bestselling D&D 5E Monster Series! The final book will contain up to 120 monsters and will be available in hardcover, softcover, and PDF.
This collection of monsters will be broken down into seven distinct regions (Ocean, Arctic, Desert, Swamp/Jungle, Forest, Hills/Lakes, and Mountains), each with a powerful wizard/witch and high CR monstrous titan. Any gamemaster will find plenty of new monsters to sprinkle across Vodari from the frozen north to the midnight depths.
25K Stretch Goal Unlocked - Five Additional Underwater Hazards

As we continue to increase our funding, we've reached $25k and unlocked the "Five Additional Underwater Hazards" stretch goal. Underwater hazards include frigid water, crushing pressure, poisonous waters, air pockets, currents, and volcanoes and vents. We can now bump up our page count to to add five additional hazards to the book so you can challenge your players while they explore the underwater world from the Sunlit Seas to the Midnight Depths.
Our next two goals that we are trying to unlock are:

We're just over 2 days into this Kickstarter and we're already 200% funded! Hitting CA$20k in funding means that most of our first batch of stretch goals are now unlocked and we've added new stretch goals.
Unlocked Stretch Goals
Here are some details for each of our unlocked stretch goals:
$12K - Underwater Terms & Definitions. Underwater adventuring requires learning a ton of new terminology and jargon. We'll add this section to the book and provide definitions for everything from abyss to zooplankton.
$15k - Five Undersea Vehicle Modifications. We'll add even more modifications to the book for submersibles, sleds, and chariots for you players to add to their vehicles.
250 Backers - Character Sheet (PDF). Custom character sheets for your players themed for Vodari's undersea world in print and form-fillable versions. This is a backer-exclusive digital reward and will not be available to non-backers.
$20k Backers - Two Additional Monsters. We'll add two new monsters to the book to challenge, amuse, and terrify players.
