Due to the long weekend, we're a few days later than normal on sending out this update. Thanks for your patience and here's an update on the latest info for this Kickstarter.
Mounts & Vehicles Preview
The mounts and vehicles chapter is 100% complete and we're just waiting for the remaining artwork to arrive for 4 vehicles.
"Most undersea people are strong swimmers and can travel short distances quickly. That hasn’t stopped undersea people from adopting the use of mounts and vehicles for longer journeys, transporting goods, and warfare. This chapter looks at mount and vehicle options for your campaign. You’ll also find combat rules, weapons stats, and upgrades for the vehicles."
The chapter contains mounts, five vehicles that are worn/drawn by mounts, and six vehicles that are powered by a new undersea fuel (called fire ice). The powered vehicles range from the single pilot Current Rider to the gargantuan Guardian class battle platform. We've also provided rules to help gamemasters run undersea vehicle combat.

2) Under the Seas of Vodari
Layout is progressing well on the majority of the book.
Our main hurdle on releasing the PDF for Under the Seas of Vodari is getting the final pieces of artwork and maps completed for three remaining chapters (the gazetteer, remaining vehicles, and the adventure). We appreciate your patience as we complete these art assets and move those chapters into final layout.
In our next update (or sooner), we'll update all delivery dates and set an address lock date. We're looking forward to moving from production to distribution and getting the finished book out to everyone.
The Hero's Guide to Vodari
Our original plan was to complete this book after we completed Under the Seas of Vodari.
We're accelerating the completion of The Hero's Guide to Vodari while we wait for the remaining art/maps for Under the Seas of Vodari.
We are also looking at options for a softcover print of this book. Let us know in the comments below If you are interested in havingus provide a softcover print option in the near future.

The Hero's Guide to Vodari
The cover of this PDF is complete and we're about 80% done merging all of the content.
This book is designed to help players in a Vodari campaign create and equip characters to fit the world. Whether your campaign takes place above or below the waves, you’ll find plenty of player options, equipment, and more to create your character.
This book only includes content that is from The Seas of Vodari and Under the Seas of Vodari. We did not write any new stuff for this PDF.
All Under the Seas of Vodari Kickstarter backers will receive this PDF as Kickstarter reward. For anyone else, we'll share what purchase options will be available soon.

The PDF and Hardcover
We're currently focused on any remaining editing, artwork, and layout. Once layout is complete and we're happy with our internal Alpha PDF, we'll move to the following:
We'll send a Beta PDF to all backers. Our current estimate for sendingout the Beta PDF is March 2022.
We'll give everyone a couple of weeks to review and provide feedback on the Beta PDF and then make any changes to the content and layout before we send the final PDF to our printer and backers. Our current estimate for sendingout the finalPDF is April 2022.
Once the print is complete and in our warehouse, we'll begin shipping. All of our physical rewards will ship together with the hardcovers. Our current estimate to begin shipping the book is May 2022, but we are planning for challenges to shipping due to COVID-19 and other factors.

A preview of the leviathan
Here's our regular monthly update for this Kickstarter. We're getting very close to finalizing the remaining book content. By the end of this month, we hope to be entirely focused on closing out the artwork and layout.
Printer Update
As mentioned in the last update, we have now contacted all of our local printers and have final quotes. We're working on specific print run dates and will provide an update in the near future when we have locked in dates for all deliverables (including digital rewards such as tokens and maps).
Development Progress
We had to open up the undersea racial traits for another development pass due to the current direction the D&D team is taking as it moves towards 2024. Our goal is to provide a book that balances matching up to the most recent D&D releases and supporting legacy 5e content.
Undersea Races
We added full traits for the sea elf and sea dwarf. These are no longer subraces, matching up with leaks that have surfaced of the Duergar and Deep Gnome from Mordenkainen’s Monsters of the Multiverse. We also converted all of our new Vodari races that had subraces to have full racial traits.
We removed any skills or proficiencies from racial traits that appeared to be more rooted in culture than biology (such as elf weapon training vs. keen senses). These were pretty minor and only impacted a couple of races.
We decided that the Karokans only needed a single set of racial traits, going with a single trait that provides two choices to distinguish whether your karokan spent more time in the shallows or deeps... similar to the new Dragonborn traits in Fizban's Treasury of Dragons or the Kobold leak from Mordenkainen’s Monsters of the Multiverse.
Current Development
Here's an update on each of the chapters that are still not finalized.
I. Welcome to the Undersea World: This chapter's history section is still in editing. We're also working on filling out the chapter's artwork.
VI. Mounts & Vehicles: The mounts and related equipment are complete. We're closing out any remaining writing/development on the sample vehicles, vehicle modifications, and torpedoes. Most undersea vehicles use a new energy source found in the depths to power turbines.
X. The Sunken City of Zuroth: This chapter is in final editing/playtesting. We're working on filling out the chapter's last few artwork pieces too.
We updated some of the god icons to better suit the aquatic nature of undersea followers.

Content for the following chapters is 100% finalized. These chapters are either sitting with layout or waiting for a couple of final pieces of artwork and maps.
